Our Win

2021 starts with a good bang – update on book publishing.

So in trying to keep this as brief as I can, yet also including some super brief back story… I am blessed to have a rather reputable and NYT best-selling author helping me out with my writing. She’s actually been helping me for years – as a mentor of sorts.

Now I don’t want to name this person just yet (as I just don’t want pressure and expectation to result) but what I will say is that she’s just organised to have my book professionally edited – and at her expense. Such a lovely gesture, in fact I’m pretty blown away by her generosity.

Writers helping writers – so cool – gees I hope I can in turn repay a favour like this to someone when I’m in the position to do so. Still, far out my friend believes in my work and has my back 100%, I feel so loved.

I don’t know why I let so much doubt seep in the other day.

Anyways, I met my editor via email today and I am so excited by the process that awaits. Super cool. Super a ‘next step’ that I’m totally ready for (as a writer).

Then next stop publishing on Amazon, then ‘hopefully’ selling the book to a publishing house.

Plus, my author friend is going to be my personal publicist. Wow.

Holy moly!!

I am so humbled and grateful.

I have worked very, very, very hard to get here.

And I mean sure this whole process will still take a few months but truly right now I feel like the luckiest man alive 🙂

Thanks everyone for listening to my rants, Facebook and my blog is where I found my confidence and voice. So, this ‘win’ is all of ours. Thank you. Couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you ❤
